The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have selected Conor Sullivan (12th overall, first round) and Luke Holyfield (30th overall, second round) in the annual QMJHL American draft today.
Sullivan is a 6’3, 170 lb, 2003 born goaltender who played for the Rivers School prep in Massachusetts. He posted a 2.68 GAA and an 879 save percentage through 13 games.
Holyfield is a 6′, 160 lb, 2003 born right wing who played last season with the Connecticut Chiefs under 16 program in the AYHL. Last season he collected 62 points in 27 games.
The next draft for the Screaming Eagles will take place on June 27th with the annual CHL import selection. The Eagles hold picks #36 and #96.
