In order to give its players and staff a well-deserved break, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that it will extend its Christmas break to a 15-day period. Therefore, there will be no regular season games between December 20th and January 3rd inclusively.
The Eagles organization in conjunction with the QMJHL understand the importance of giving players and staff a moment to re-energize and spend time with their families in the middle of this challenging season. The regular season schedule has been reorganized accordingly to give a two-week break to teams. Players returning home to areas outside the Atlantic bubble will be required to quarantine upon return. It is anticipated that due to the break and isolation requirements several games will need to be rescheduled.
The following Cape Breton Eagles games have been rescheduled as of today, with more updates to follow:
(Away Game) December 28th vs Saint John — December 3rd (TD Station)
(Home Game)December 30th vs Halifax—- December 16th (C200)
(Away Game) December 31st vs Halifax—– November 25th (Scotiabank Centre)
(Home Game) January 3rd vs Moncton—– February 3rd (C200)
