Langlois Selected To National Under-18 Camp

Cape Breton Eagles defenseman Jérémy Langlois was selected for Hockey Canada’s Selection camp for the annual Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

The annual international tournament matches the best Under 18 players from the top nations around the world each August. While the Covid-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 version of the event, Hockey Canada today announced the 46 players who would have been trying out for spots on the team. The Eagles rookie was one of 14 defensemen named to the roster.

Langlois was one of 15 QMJHL players who would have had a chance to win a spot at the tournament. This past season Langlois collected seven assists with a +9 rating through 50 games with the Eagles. He also represented Canada Black at the World Under 17s in the fall.
