Eagles Battle Mooseheads in First Round Playoff Matchup

Your Eagles playoffs positioning and opponent came down to the final day of the regular season.

With the Eagles first loss in Moncton this season, we watched in anticipation of the result of the Baie-Comeau vs Chicoutimi outcome to determine our First Round Playoff opponent. With Baie-Comeau’s victory over Chicoutimi, that result added to a 7th seed and a Playoff matchup against the Halifax Mooseheads.

For only the fourth time in history, and first since 2008, it will be a Battle of Nova Scotia to start for the Gilles-Courteau Trophy!

Your Eagles beat the Mooseheads in their last regular season matchup on March 24th!

Games 1 & 2 will be in Halifax on March 31st & April 1st with puck drop at 7 PM

Games 3 & 4 will be at the Nest on April 4th & 5th with puck drop at 7 PM

If necessary:

Game 5 will be in Halifax on April 7th at 7 PM

Game 6 will be back in Sydney on April 9th at 4 PM

Game 7 will be in Halifax on April 11th at 7PM
