Screaming Eagles Trade Sacha Roy To Baie-Comeau

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have traded defenseman Sacha Roy (1999-04-05) to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in exchange for goaltender Alex-William Maheux (2000-04-29) and Baie-Comeau’s second round draft choice in 2020.

Roy was drafted by the Screaming Eagles in the third round of the 2015 QMJHL draft, 40th overall. In 2017-18, his second full season in the QMJHL, he recorded ten points in 55 games. Last season Maheux was invited to Baie-Comeau’s training camp before playing ten games with MontrĂ©al-Nord Arctic in the QJAAAHL (Jr. A), posting a save percentage of .834.

On ice sessions for the 2018 Screaming Eagles training camp begin Thursday night at Centre 200.
